Waste Management Plant in Tychy

Investment task entitled: “Construction works consisting of the construction, supply and installation of a photovoltaic installation with a rated power of 494 kWp”.

Investment completed in 2021 on the roofs of the halls of the Intercommunal Complex Municipal Waste Management Plant in Tychy. The capacity of the photovoltaic installation is 494 kWp. More than 1,300 photovoltaic modules have been mounted on the roofs. At the heart of the installation are eight photovoltaic inverters with a capacity of 50 kW each. One of the challenges of the project was the limited load-bearing capacity of the roofs, which is why a membrane-welded structure was used. This solution resulted in an extremely low load capacity (<10 kg/m²).

For this project, we carried out a static roof calculation, construction and detailed design.
